Vaz Modular is to the musician what "Lego" is to kids. Building blocks with
which to build that sound you need. The interface is simple to understand
though it takes a bit of work reading through the help file and looking at
the examples given to fully understand all the possible routing options.
However, with patience you will work it all out in the end! The sound
possibilities are practically endless and anything you could produce on a
real analog synth you should be able to simulate here. The built in analog
sequencer was great fun to use and reminded me of days long since gone...
messing around with an old ARP. The program itself appears to be pretty well
bug free though it can make huge demands on processor time if you use the
polyphonic options as well as a high sample rate so be warned! This is one
program Im sure I, and others, will go back to over and over again.. It was
a real pleasure going back to 'retro' synth sounds.
